Education

FAU offers both BA and interdisciplinary MA programs in Chinese studies. For details about our study programs and degrees, please visit the website of the Chair of Sinology with a focus on the Intellectual and Cultural History of China.

More specific descriptions of the Bachelor program and the Master program give a compact overview of the study of Sinology and its advantages and professional prospects. Detailed curricula for the B.A. in Sinology and the M.A. in Sinology provide insight into the variety of topics covered by the Chair.

Interested in studying sinology and joining FAU ? The Leitfaden for first-semester students provides answers to (almost) all possible questions, due to the fact it was written from students in sinology themselves. For further questions about the study of Sinology in a Bachelor or Master program, please contact Dr. Anne Schmiedl (Studienfachberatung).

Information on individual courses can be found on campo. To participate in these courses, prior registration via StudOn is required.
